All About Adsense: Make Money Tips

Google has standard for those who want to set up blogs and make money with adsense. As I blog about and write about how to make money with google adsense on this blog, many are asking me how they can start a successful adsense business. Some are also asking why their adsense was terminated, banned or was not accepted.

There are  lots of blogger blogs floating over the internet since it is free to own. However, 99% of them makes no money. You will also discover that most of the blogs were set up primarily to make money, yet they don't and these people are getting frustrated. The simple reason is that these sites does not qualify for adsense program, and even when they get approved will struggle for click through to having the right ads on the sites.

For you to start making money with google adsense, you will need to qualify, as the demands for accepting a site are mostly common knowledge and are nothing extraordinary. Many people are being rejected.

First thing First: Get a Descent Website:

Just putting up a blog or site with one post will not qualify you for adsense. Also, having a blog or site with copied content from other sites will even disqualify you from adsense program.  This is what most people do. In fact, with the latest implemented google panda, all sites with duplicate content will be suspended and this account for why most accounts were terminated. A descent website or blog with an SEO friendly name will work well.

Number of Posts: Adding a single post and applying for adsense will lead to disqualification. Google require that you have at least  10 to 15 articles on your blog  with qualifying content.
Google specifies a list of topics for which they will not server Ads. Other than that there is no strict conditions such as how big the site should be and how much traffic should it attract.
However a webmaster has to first understand Google's Terms of Service, in which Google outlines the Dos and Don'ts of using Adsense on your web site.

The webmaster need to be very careful before applying to Adsense and make sure that his website or blog indeed qualifies for Google Adsense. It is very difficult and frustrating to get into the program or reapply to the program, if you are once rejected.  The following are what you should have in mind before applying for adsense

Content: Google is primarily for content based sites or blogs. If you are focusing on selling products and then applying for adsense with a product site, you will not be accepted. This is simple, if you are focusing on adsense on your product site, you will end up sending traffic to your competitors.

The best way to use adsense is on niche sites, meaning specific topics such as this site that is focused only on success with adsense. This is the sure way to succeed with adsense.


Forums & Blogs:  While some blogs and forums may not be accepted, some stand a great chance if they (blog or forum) have information-rich content and will surely be accepted.

Earlier, google will not accept the sites above but since it is what users are looking for in terms of providing contents, they will accept it easily.

Image Galleries: Google could  also accepts image sites provided the images are accompanies with brief explanatory lines that are relevant for google mediabot which is the Googles Media crawler. However, you may not have as much result compared to the content.

Other Sites that will not be allowed: Weight loss, Porn, Gamble etc are sites that google will not accept in their programs.
