I have been making money from google adsense for years after signing up with a guide from my only mentor Joel Comm, and I bet it is one of the best ways to make money online starting for free. This is so because anyone can start with free website from blogger. I am not perfect and I still continue to make mistakes as I am human as I run my adsense business.I keep testing and testing what works and this is how I improve my earnings. This write up is meant to show you how to do it right.


I presently live in another country but still retain my adsense account in my native country. I run an adsense business account and my money goes to my country each month paid to my company's account. This is passive income and I love it so much.

In the begining when I signed up for adsense, I would always check to know how much I have made and this is whqt newbies do. No blame as you have been told that you will make all the money on earth when you sign up and start running google adsense on your site. I advise that you get focused instead to pursue your dream instead of paying get rich quick seminar organizers who make money off you.


One thing I have known about Internet marketing is that most people who know the technique would not tell you the technique they use. Why should they tell you so you can compete with them? This is a secret about online business and competition!

But I am doing things different here on this blog, giving you how it is, and practically how it works. This is the only best way to attract the right people who return here and the people who are thirsty for blog and adsense success. I do know my difficulty in getting to master adsense techniques and how it works, how to fail, and all the lessons I learned from adsense.

1.  Google Adsense Is a Business: If you are going to make success with google adsense, you must run it as a business venture. Business grows and your income must grow from nothing to something. You must have a short, and long term goal. For example, how much you want to earn in 3, 6, and 12 months and all the effort you will put into it.

2. Adsense is a Passive income from blogging Activity: Google adsense is a passive income for me. I write and blog for passive income. Posts that I have made years ago brings my adsense earnings today from search engine back links. I live in another country and my adsense is paid to my company account in my native country monthly.

3. Blogs Don't Make Money, It is your activity that brings money: When you leave a blog dormant, no money is made. Therefore, you must post at least 3 times a week on your blog or everyday to bring traffic to your blog for money to be made. No visitor, no money.

4. Adsense Love Niche Sites: Niche Sites Make More money than general sites from adsense.Therefore, I have concentrated on niche sites. Niche sites are sites tht addresses one topic or subject. For example, this site is only addressing google adsense and nothing else. This will attract relevant advertisers as well as high click through rates plus high cost per click.

5. Your Site Country Traffic Source Will affect your adsense income: This is a very important factor. Clicks from United States and UK will give you more cost per click than clicks from African countries. This is simple. US and UK visitors will readily have credit cards to mke payment online, whereas it is limited in Africa.

6. Your Web Site or Blog Theme or Template will affect your adsense click through: Do not use ordinary templates. Use adsense friendly templates that will bring higher click through. Your site templates or themes should be preferably plain colour with plain background so that your adsense ads could show to visitors.

7. Place your adsense for higher click through: Adsense positions matters. Do not hide them. Place them at header, leader-board(above title), below title or at end of post. These are strategic places. And then ofcourse side widgets.  Look at the ads on this site and see how they are placed.

8. Remove Blogger "B" logo or favicon to give your blogger blog a professional look: This will greatly affect your adsense as visitors do not like free websites, especially when they see the blogger logo. Remove the favicon

9. Don't Pay Get Rich Quick Expert to Generate Earnings for you: I have seen it floated over the years from people who just want to make money. Adsense does not take the issue of generating fraudulent clicks lightly. Their policy and terms of service is clear and this is why they have terminated most accounts for using sites such as Ayuads.com. Use organic traffic and have a future business.

10. Use Ad colors as the same with your site link colours: Using adsense colour as same colour with your site link colours will increase your click through, Also, you can use links as underlines so that visitors can see it easily.

11. Use Social Media to share your content: You should know how and why your visitors are coming to your site. Let your visitors have a way to share your content easily as this will bring more traffic to your site. Install social share such as AddThis, Twitter, Facebook Like Box etc to bring interaction between you and your visitors.

12. Post Relevant Contents: Your content must be rich and relevant to keep your visitors coming back.

13. Do not copy content and post on your site: Google will terminate your account or you could loose your SEO rankings if you start using duplicate content from other sites. They have installed the google panda to detect this. You must know how to create quality content fast and original for your blog

14. Install Feed Burnner on your Blog: Feeds, especially feed burner will help you notify your subscribers by email each time you add a post on your blog. This will bring repeated traffic and more money

15. Create a Twitter Account for your business: Twitter is a great tool for traffic. Join twitter, follow people in your field using tweetmeme and start tweeting your post.

16. Join StumbleUpon and Stumble your posts: Stumble upon brings great traffic after facebook, Use it. Join, add friends and also send them notification of your posts.

17. Join Linkedin: Linkedin is a great professional social site. Join linkedin, create a great profile and add your site. Also, join lots of groupd relevant to your industry and post updates of your blog post there to the group and individual messages.

19. Install Highest Commentator and Reward them on your blog: Comments boost your site with search engines. You can encourage your readers to comment as they also have traffic back to their site. Then reward the highest commentator on your site.

20:  Add a site map, category or top post list on your blog: This no doubt will increase navigation on your site. A site that is not easy to navigate by visitors will not make much money. Install all widgets that will enhance your site navigation and increase your adsense clicks

21. Have an optin autoresponder: Having  a great site with no autoresponder will make you lose repeated visitors. When you have autoresponder such as Aweber will let you have subscribers who receives email notification from you each time you post. Make post everyday and send them notification of post on your newsletter everyday. This keep relationship. Your mails must be more of help instead of sales pitch.

22. Submit your link to forums: Forum gives you permanent back link. Join forums that are relevant to your niche and start contributing there while you add your site link on the bio line for back link.Forums such as Digital Point Forums, Warrior Forums are great if you are writing on the Internet Marketing Niehe.

23. Your Contact Address for Pin/Check Receipt Must Be Correct: One of the things most adsense publishers encounter is receiving their Pin or even Cheque. You must use a correct and accessible address.

24. Open a Dom/Dollar  Account: Adsense pays in various currencies but majorly US Dollars. You cannot use your local currency bank account, but a dollar denominated account to  cash your earnings.

27. You Can start adsense Program with a Free Blogger Blog: You may not need to have a paid website to start google adsense program. All need is a gmail account and then log into blogger.com with your gmail user name password and you are ready to start building your blog. Once you are done, add relevant articles and apply for adsense if your articles are at least 12 and they re original contents.
